Upgrade the bottleneck

Choose an upgrade because it changes a decision, not because a button is available.

Separate the upgrade questions

Level, form progression, unlocked abilities and cost reduction can affect different parts of a card. Before committing materials, inspect the current client's preview and requirements. Do not assume a guide for another release uses the same recipe or unlock order.

Write the expected improvement

Describe the problem in one sentence: the front pair cannot survive a hit, the roster exceeds a cost limit, or a useful technique belongs to an unfinished form. Then identify an upgrade that directly changes that problem. If you cannot connect the upgrade to an outcome, keep the materials until you can.

Two upgrade paths

Suppose a draft already survives reliably, but misses a finish because its attack is unavailable. A small health increase does not address that timing problem. Reconsider turn planning or another card before spending resources simply to raise a visible number.

Read the confirmation screen

  • Confirm the exact card receiving the materials.
  • Check quantities, currency and any consumed duplicate.
  • Compare the resulting form or effect with the role in your draft.
  • Keep a reserve for a second pair if the first change does not solve the mission.

Measure after the change

Use the same mission where practical and note what changed. If other effects or enemies differ, avoid attributing the entire result to the upgrade. Reference stats on this wiki use a stated baseline; your live card may include bonuses that the reference table deliberately excludes.

We do not provide an upgrade automation service, interact with your game account or guarantee that a particular investment will clear a mission.
